My snowy biome home. I suggest using wireless redstone mods to power the pistons on the first level that are hidden behind some of the bloocks near the door. Since they are the least intrusive and don't require a bunch of wires all over the place. I also used Maccaws doors mod for the entrance to the actual house on the topmost floor. I personally prefereed to use the garage doors with the remote so only can enter it.
